ReplyDeleteSt. Patrick´s day is a festivity originated and native of Ireland, but is was extended to other countries like The US. It is celebrated in memory of St. Patrick (the patron saint of Ireland) the 17th of March, day when he died.
The typical colour in this celebration is green, and the symbol is a shamrock (it is the symbol of Ireland too).
St. Patrick was born in England and he is remembered as the person that extended the christianity in Ireland.
